I'm Karen Fosterling, a passionate homeschooling mom dedicated to creating a vibrant community for families in Ramona, CA. As the proud leader of the Ramona Community Group for Homeschool Collective, I am thrilled to be at the forefront of a nonprofit organization, a 501c3, that focuses on enhancing the homeschooling experience for local families.

In collaboration with my dedicated board, we curate a dynamic calendar filled with enriching classes, exciting field trips, engaging workshops, and special events throughout the year. My commitment extends beyond these activities, as I actively organize regular meet-ups, such as free Mondays at the Farmstand 67 and Ramona Kidz Clubhouse. These gatherings not only foster a sense of community but also aim to support our local businesses and nonprofits, contributing to the growth of our town's economy.

While I am proud to lead the Let the Kids Explore Pod Trips in Ramona, I will also champion the Ramona Community Group for Homeschool Collective. We welcome all forms of homeschooling and are dedicated to creating a space for families to connect with local resources. As part of my mission, I am actively working on establishing a hardship fund to assist families facing financial challenges, ensuring that no one is turned away from classes or field trips due to costs.
