Howdy!
I'm a wife, stay at home mom of 9, and many more micro titles that are too many to list here. Haha!
I NEVER saw myself homeschooling, ever! I didn't even know it was a thing before I was married in 2003. I resisted the idea of homeschooling for years. I finally gave in when we made a move to the midwest and said "I'll take it one year at a time." Well I've been homeschooling since 2010 and have kept renewing my commitment to my kids, husband, and the Lord every year.
My kids and I can't wait to meet you in the near future. We look forward to working together with you and your family. š

Hi, Iām Katrina! I spent my childhood in Maine, climbing trees and playing in the woods for hours on end. I relocated to San Diego County over 20 years ago and now live in La Mesa with my wonderful husband and 3 boys. We began homeschooling in fall of 2020, and we havenāt looked back! We love our new homeschool lifestyle, but we missed being part of a community. My goal with leading this collective is to build community, create long-term friendships, and bring people together to share ideas, knowledge, laughter, tears, curriculum, and everything else that goes along with this amazing homeschool journey. Hello! I am a wife, mother of four, and pretty new to the homeschool world. I have three boys and one daughter. Our homeschool journey began when we decided to part ways with the public school system in the fall of 2020.
My passions include photography, teaching, sewing, all things crafty, and anything else that allows me to express my creativity. My family loves enjoying the sunshine! In our free time, you can catch us walking around the Zoo, Safari Park, and Balboa Park, going to the movies, or at one of our favorite restaurants.
Before we parted ways with the public school system, I worked as a Paraprofessional in our local district. I have seven years of experience teaching small group instruction with children from TK - 8th grade, specifically with children having a variety of special needs.
