Join us as well learn about our local animals, specifically birds! This will be the beginning of a series of Field trips helping teach our kids Environmental Stewardship! These opportunities encourage responsible interaction w/ our natural surrounding & creates awareness of the everyday impact!

About the event
Agua Hedionda is an extraordinary collection of hands-on exhibits, gardens, and live animal ambassadors allowing visitors to “taste nature.”
We will start at the visitor center, and learn about all the animal ambassadors.
We will check out Raptor Ridge. Established in 2021, and brings 4 native raptor species to the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation’s Discovery Campus to provide a new form of concentrated education about these birds of prey.
We will do a small, easy hike along our coastal Hubbs trail.
To end our visit we will participate in Falcon Feeding Fridays
Friday at 3:00pm enjoy an opportunity to see the falcons do what they do best – be carnivores! A Raptor Specialist or intern will answer any questions you may have about the falcons, and watch them up close and personal enjoying their dinner!
