Birthday Bash & Books at the Bay! (Friday)

We are excited to offer our third quarterly "Birthday Bash & Books" event! This meet up is to celebrate all the kids who have birthdays in July, August, and September. We will host this event once a quarter; look for future posting in November (to celebrate October to December birthdays). Here's how it will work:

1. Everyone bring a used storybook or chapter book to pass on (unwrapped). We will host a used book swap, so that all the birthday boys and girls (actually all the kids), can go home with a "new" book.

2. If your child's birthday falls within the months that are being celebrated and you want to participate, please sign up here to let us know whose birthday it is (please only list your child's name if you will be attending the event; if this link doesn't work for you, just text Katrina the info: 619-201-3566). Also, we are asking each family with a birthday kid to contribute a dozen treats of your choice (cookies, cupcakes, brownies, etc) along with the necessary plates/napkins. No need for decorations, party favors, or gifts.

This is also a fun day at the bay, so bring the paddle boards, kayaks, sand toys, etc. I'll set up a table in the grass for the birthday treats and books. We'll try to secure the spot under the 2 big trees.
