This event has been cancelled due to closed trails. See new invite for Lusardi Creek Trail. Who knew we had a duck pond so close by! This is a beautiful trail that leads to a small pond. We can also take this to the PQ Creek Waterfall if we're feeling up to it.

About the event
We will meet at the Elizabeth Rabbitt Neighborhood park. It looks like there are only about 9 or 10 parking spaces at the park. If necessary, the closest street parking is about 0.2 miles away on Rancho Toyon Place. Double check for any no parking signs. We can also try to coordinate carpooling to help reduce the number of cars headed to the park.
The park does have restrooms and a small playground.
This hike is about 1.5-2 miles round trip. We can do an out and back to the PQ Waterfall for a total of 2-2.5 miles should we decide to venture a bit further.
Be sure to wear appropriate shoes for hiking, bring hats, water, walking sticks, and sunscreen.
Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the playground afterwards and the kids can take advantage of some park play as well.
