Clothes Mending Plus learning how to hand Sew

About the event
Let's join together as a community and celebrate the art of mending our clothes. This is a great skill for our kids to have in life. This also helps teach them how to bring life back into clothes.
Items to bring:
-Clothes that need to be mended and can be fix by hand. - there will be NO sewing machine available this time.
-Seeing Needle
-Thread - think about the colors you will need.
-Fabric scissors
-Any extra fabric- this can be used to patch up big holes (optional)
Make sure to pack a lunch, blanket to sit on and any items your little might like to play with at the park. Because let's be honest, they won't be sitting and sewing the whole time HAHA
This event will be at the community center playground area. There's a big tree and grass area we can sit under with blankets and still be able to see the kids playing.
