Cowles Mt. Night Hike (13+, Saturday)

The point of contact for this event is Katrina 619-201-3566. Come join us for a night hike up Cowles Mountain, starting at Barker Way Trailhead (this is not the well-known front side of Cowles Mt with all of the switchbacks- please follow the address). The address will take you to Barker Way, where you can park on the street. Bring water, snacks, and glow sticks. Flashlights & headlamps aren't recommended.  If you have a military style flashlight with red light, that would be fine, but otherwise, the white light will blind others. Also, we should have some good light from the moom, as the full moon is Sep 18-20. If you have an easy to pack telescope, feel free to bring it! We can take a break at the top, have some snacks, and star gaze.
