About the event

New to Homeschooling?

Been Homeschooling for a while?

Have you thought of what curriculum you will be using this year?

The new school year is fast approaching. It’s about time to start thinking of what curriculums you will use this year. Don’t be worried if you feel overwhelmed, there’s a lot of different options to pick from. This is going to be my second year of homeschooling, so I’m still a newbie learning about different types of curriculum’s.

Let’s come together and learn from other families on what they have done in previous years. We will meet at the tables by the playground.

Things to bring:

-Any past curriculums you have liked

-A layout of what your school route looks like

-Maybe you have old work books laying around your house your kids don’t use but want to pass it along to another family.

-School supplies you don’t use and want to find a new home for

-Any books you have used and would like to share

Come with questions and any worries you may have. We will support one another on this empowering journey of schooling our precious kids.

For the kiddos make sure to bring some snacks or a lunch and lots of water for them.

There is a parking fee of $3 at this park. You may pay with cash or card when you get there. You will see a booth as you drive in and there will be a mailbox with some yellow envelopes. Take one of the envelopes, fill it out (car info), put the money in it and slip it in the mail slot. There is also a $25 yearly parking pass you can buy from the rangers on property BUT…. You have to find one first 😉 or go to their office on open hours (which I don’t remember off the top of my head)
