About the event
Let's Hike the Cougar Pass trail at Daley Ranch in Escondido. This is a beautiful hike with many oak trees and boulders. A moderate 4.5 mi hike. It is a climb but varied terrain and half way up there's an easy way to the top. I don't recommend it for kiddos under 7 unless they are avid hikers. Wear shoes with good tread and bring plenty of water.
We can meet in the parking area at the trailhead. There is a bit of dirt road driving to get to trailhead. THERE ARE NO BATHROOMS.
