Elfin Forrest - Nature Exploration

This nature reserve is truly a gem. We love doing a mini hike here then playing and chilling by the creek, hopping stones and discovering the all the native flora and fauna. We'll see what will work best for the kids that day on whether or not to do a little hike.

Some notes about meeting at the location: Once you're driving on Harmony Grove Road, the sign for Elfin Forrest Recreational Reserve will "flag" you down.  You'll turn into the little road entering the Reserve, which winds down to the parking lot.  We'll meet in the parking lot so that we can connect despite iffy cell service. Some notes about safety: If you have more than one little one, this is a great park to bring another adult to help. It is a large reserve, has a creek with various depths, and trails that we may explore. My hubby will be with me since it's his day off! We love this place.

Some things you may like to bring to leave in the car or with you in nature: lots of drinking water, hats, bathing suits, possibly water shoes if you have them, maybe extra clothes, snacks/lunch.
