Friday - Apple Picking & Town Exploration - Julian

Come join us in the tradition of picking apples in the historic town of Julian!  Julian was established as a gold mining town in the late 1880's and has kept its old western charm, making it quite the fun town to explore!  With its various apple farms, the town has also attracted visitors for decades during its apple picking season. 

We will meet at Volcan Valley Apple Farm (1284 Julian Orchards Drive, Julian, CA 92036) at 10:00 AM and enjoy picking apples!  Some are great for eating raw, and some for taking home to make your own apple pie!  I am told this farm also has fantastic fresh apple cider.

Around noon, we will make our way down the hill to the town of Julian for lunch (whether packed ahead or bought out) and to explore!  The idyllic town is about 4 blocks all in all, so families can fairly…
