The Friday before Mother’s Day, May 10th, we will have our regular Games & Donuts meetup. I’d like to invite each of you “regularly attending parents” to bring your “other half,” so that the parents who cannot regularly attend have an opportunity to feel a part of the community and connect with each other!
With the additional adults, this could provide a perfect opportunity for any combination of moms to sneak away for a “Mother’s Day moment,” whether you choose to walk around the corner to grab tea or coffee, to mosey into one of the fun shops at The Lumberyard and look around, or anything else you feel inspired to do! This moment could be five minutes or a full hour — whatever it takes for you to feel the moment✨
Single parents or parents whose spouse just cannot get off work at this time to attend: Don’t you worry, I got you! I would like to still give you a Mother’s Day moment by watching your child(ren) while you “fill your cup.” I feel I am afforded these moments by grandparents, and would delight in giving back in this way.
