Heading east on Carlsbad Village Drive, turn left on Concord Street then make a left on Vancouver Street and you will see the parking lot on the left. Sometimes maps take you to the dog park entrance.
Hidden Canyon has two playgrounds (one for littles, one for bigs) and a bathroom. This park is great for wheels (skates, skateboards, scooters, bikes...) with a nice paved path. There are also a few small climbing trees and a big grassy area. There are picnic tables and lots of space to lay down a blanket. Bring lunch and stay a while.
I will also set up a crafting table with some yarn art (always fun to see what the kids create).
