Friday - Nature, Stories, & Art at Felicita Park - Escondido

In addition to a beautiful little trail loop and creek, Felicita Park has an open expanse of grass perfect for a brief story time! Expert storyteller, and homeschool dad, John will read a few super awesome books in a shady spot, then we'll all head over to the trail to explore!! If any children are interested in doing art or any kind of journaling in nature, they are welcome to bring a journal or paper and their choice of media in a backpack!  

At the entrance to the park is a ticket kiosk for parking -- the cost is $3, unless of course you have a park pass. Once you pass through the entrance, drive straight ahead up a little hill (don't veer left) to the upper parking lot.  There you will see the large expance of grass were we will meet and start with our story time.  

FYI, the park does have "campground" style bathrooms you can use!
