Take this short 1.8 mile loop walk with us. All trails calls this trail easy. We'll start at Carillo Elementary, stop at the ranch and explore, and head back. Please read full description below! There's an opportunity to meet at the Ranch if you're unable to hike!

About the event
***Park at Carillo Elementary school. Turn into Carrillo Elementary School parking lot drive then immediately on the right is paved parking lot at trailhead.
I have hiked this trail a few times and it's fairly easy. All trails says it's about a 1.8 mile loop and we will be stopping halfway to explore Leo Carillo Ranch, snack, and then we will walk back. All trails claims the hike takes about 45 minutes. If you want to just meet us at the Ranch you are more than welcome! There is a parking lot. We will arrive there around 9:30/9:45ish depending on walking speed. The address is: 6200 Flying Leo Carillo Lane, Carlsbad.
**It will be pretty warm/hot. Bring plenty of water and snacks for the kiddos.
