About the event

This is an all day event with various activities throughout the day. You can look at the event schedule here https://sdzsafaripark.org/indigenous-peoples-celebration

We are planning to attend the Blessing Ceremony at 10:00 followed by The Telling of The Creation Story at 10:30, then we will explore the Environmental Wellness ambassadors (basket weaving and other crafts) and the Bird Singing Groups. We'll probably head to some of the restaurants to watch some of the traditional food demonstrations and try some new foods too. You are welcome to join us for any and all of this (we need to leave around 1:30, but the event goes on til 4). If you would like to join us we will plan to meet outside the entrance at 9:30 and head in together to the Blessing Ceremony. My cell number is (925)999-5843 if you need help finding us or need to get in touch last minute.

Hope to see you there!
