Coastal Hike! This preserve features an easy out and back trail plus nature center! The trail is wide, mostly flat, and has shady spots to stop and rest. Hats and sunscreen are highly recommended!

About the event
Street parking on Gabbiano Lane in Carlsbad.
Restroom facilities available at the nature center (as long as it is open).
Don't for your hats, sunscreen, and plenty of water!!
We may stay and have a picnic lunch at the tables outside of the nature center or up at the Eucalyptus grove nature circle at the top of the hill near Piovana Court. The kids can play here afterwards, building nature forts.
