Let's Explore! Fossil Hunt at Hosp Grove

The Carlsbad Collective has invited us to join them as they head to Hosp Grove to hunt for fossils. We'll also embark on a short hike, decorate a fossil bag, observe a fossil slab, and play at a fossil rub station. Charter School sample sheet will also be provided for grades 1-3 and 4-6.

About the event
*Hosp Grove is a beautiful eculyptus grove park with so much to explore. This park also features a playground.
*NOTE: The parking lot is quite small. Should it be full upon your arrival, park just down the street (less than .5 miles) at the nearby shopping plaza (Club Pilates) and walk over. There is also a parking lot at Canyon Dr. and Monroe Street if you would prefer to explore the trails on the way down to the park.
*Be sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes, hats, and sunscreen. Bring water, snacks, and a picnic lunch.
*There is a porta-potty only at this location, no restroom facilities.
