Let's meet at the San Elijo Visitor's Center and explore the nearby trails. The center has restrooms and a small museum to explore as well. If their small parking lot is full, park across the street and walk over. Last time we did this hike, we enjoyed lunch on the upper balcony afterwards.

About the event
We'll meet at the visitor's center. Â This is an easy, mostly flat trail. Â We'll take the trail inland and explore the small loop, followed by a visit to the visitor center museum, and lunch on the upper balcony. Â Pack a lunch, sunscreen, hats, and appropriate footwear. Â If the small parking lot is full, park across the street at the water treatment facility. Â
