Let's Ride! Mountain Bike at Penasquitos Creek

Mountain bike ride & Waterfall play @ Peñasquitos Canyon

We will meet at 10 am at Peñasquitos Creek Park, where we will do a short intro to MTB skills clinic before we

head out onto the trails. We will also cover the ABC’s of bike safety, trail safety, and trail etiquette.

This is a BEGINNER level ride with approx. 4 miles round trip to the Waterfall and back.Pace as slow as the

slowest rider, no rider left behind. Parents/Legal guardians are required to stay with their minors at all times.

Parents who have non-riding kids can hike to the waterfall from PQ Falls Trailhead (7101-7113 Park Village Rd,

San Diego, CA 92129), which is roughly 1 mi to Waterfall.

• What to bring

Bike in good working order, helmet, water, sunscreen, snacks, and maybe a spare tire.

• Important to know

Pace as slow as the slowest rider.

Legal guardians are responsible for their minors at all times.

Street parking only at trailhead.  

Porta-potty available at the park. 

No water or other facilities.

GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY ATTENDING AND HAVE ATTENDED FREELY AND WITHOUT

INDUCEMENT OR ASSURANCE OF ANY NATURE AND INTEND IT TO BE A COMPLETE AND

UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
