We've changed the location from Leisure Lagoon to Bonita Cove because paddle boards and kayaks are not allowed- Leisure Lagoon is a swim only area, enforced by lifeguards.

About the event
I apologize for changing the location, but we had a meet up at Leisure Lagoon on June 3rd and the lifeguards told us it was a swim only location. Because it was early in the season and we were basically the only ones there, they allowed the kids to use the boats and paddle boards. But once it's busier, we won't be able to get away with it. Anyway, we'll meet at Bonita Cove instead. If you are bringing any kind of kayak or paddle board, they require kids under 12 to wear a life jacket; people over 12 must have a lifejacket "on board". We'll meet on the sand in front of the new-ish pink and blue playground. Park near the playground/restrooms. Bring all the beach stuff- sunscreen, hats, chairs, towels, umbrella, sand toys, water, snacks, lunch, etc. It is on the bay side, so there are no waves. PLEASE…
