About the event
I used the address of the campground in order to give you the correct direction into Mission Trails for the OAK CANYON trail. All other addresses I tried take you into Mission Trails from the other side by the visitors center... we will NOT be on the vistors center side.
DO NOT go into the campground. Drive PAST the campground to park (anywhere along the road or in the small lot at the end).
Meet at the picnic tables that are along the trail just before Old Mission Dam, right after the port-a-potties located at the small parking lot.
- Starting our hike promptly at 9am.
- Oak Canyon trail is about 3 miles round trip. Moderate level, lots of rocks, fun for strong littles, easy to baby wear.
- We will stop at the halfway point to snack and explore before we hike back out, but will otherwise move along quickly.
- Lunch, relax, water play/explore at the dam after the hike!
Bring lots of water, snacks, and lunch.
