About the event
We love this shady, tucked away little park. Plenty of parking right along the road. We'll meet near where the modest playground is visible (look for our sign), then once most of us have arrived, we'll embark on a mini hike (1/4 mile) to see what flora and fauna we can see. After most of our wiggles are out, we'll find a shady spot to paint, draw, do a nature craft, sip water, snack, and read some stories. You may like to bring:
A nature journal with choice of art medium if you have it, otherwise I will bring some extras I was gifted
A favorite nature related story or book
Water, snacks, a hat, and a blanket to sit on if you wish
I should mention there are no bathrooms there. My kids and I go beforehand, then have no issues. I do have a travel potty set up…
