Nature Study! Gonzales Canyon

Let's take a short walk down to the tadpole "pond" and see what we can see. Bring a picnic blanket, your explorer tools, and art supplies (water color, colored pencils, crayons, paper, etc.), and/or a nature journal and take in this sweet little spot.

About the event
We'll meet at Solana Ranch Park. Street parking only. If it is full, you can park a bit down the road after crossing the bridge.
Wear your hiking shoes. There is one tiny but steep spot to get down to the pond and of course mud.
Be prepared with sunscreen, hats, bug spray, and possibly a change of clothes (just in case).
There are restrooms at the park.
Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the park afterwards.
