Old Town San Diego Exploration (Friday)

Hey everyone! Looking forward to our Old Town Exploration Friday! This one was put together quite last minute, so I will be grateful to go with anyone who can make it!

The kids and I scoped it out earlier this week to get a lay of the land and figure out the easiest way to visit with littles, and I was surprised at how easy it was to visit! We navigated directly to a little parking lot that is 20 seconds walking distance (over grass, no streets or cars) to the Historic Town Square, which is very slow paced and low-key. Lots of grass with shady trees for us families to lay out some picnic blankets and chill. The buildings we want to explore are all in that “square!” Easy access to bathrooms. The town is so cool and contains “original” buildings from the mid-1800s. There is an informational building with great visual history for the kids to explore, old-fashioned, looking shops, an old courthouse with a jail cell (lol!), and more!

I will be getting there right at 10:00 AM, and at that time the kids and I will be hanging at a picnic table by the large flagpole if you want to meet us there!
