Come join us to meet firefighters and tour the Santee Fire Station #5! This field trip will be about 60-75 minutes long (give or take a bit). The kids will receive a talk on fire safety, get a tour of the station, see the fire trucks, and have an opportunity to ask the firefighters any questions they have. All ages are welcome. Please arrive on time, as this is a short visit; also be aware that it could be cut short if the firefighters get called to an emergency.
Our La Mesa tour was SO popular and SO well attended, that we actually had too many people to do a walk through of the living quarters. We have been assured that this will be a more interactive experience. Depending on the size of the group, we will likely split into small groups for a portion of the tour; however, space is still limited and you must sign up to attend.
