We are hosting an end of the school year Science Fair to celebrate all of the hard work our kids have put into science this year! This is an opportunity for students to showcase a science project that they are most proud of.
We will set up the room like a vendor fair where kids display their science projects on tables around the room (tables will be provided). If there's a small number of kids participating, we may have each student present one at a time to the group of attendees. If we have a large number of kids participating, we will just allow parents and guests to roam around the room, viewing the projects and talking to the students one-on-one at their tables. Either way, have your child prepare to explain their display/project. Please know that no child will be forced to do any presentation- that's totally optional. This is a non-competitive, low pressure, fun way to share what they've learned.
Everyone is welcome to attend, even if your child does not want to set up a science display. We would love the support of others to come check out these cool projects! Invite the grandparents and neighbors! For those who want to set up a display, please click here to sign up (we must know how many kids will be participating with their projects): Science Fair Sign Up
The fair will run from 10am-12pm, but you may come at 9:30am to set up. We also would love help cleaning up and putting away tables afterwards.
