About the event
Join us for this fun event to celebrate the love for reading! Have your child dress as their favorite character from a book they've read. They will have the opportunity to tell us all about the story and the character they chose to be. It can be as simple or elaborate as your child feels comfortable. This is a neat opportunity for kids to practice a bit of public speaking, as well as listening skills as they wait for their turn to present. If they want to dress up and just watch, that is OK too!
This is an early meet up, in hopes ot beat the heat. We will aim to have the kids start around 9:30am; free play and bookmark decorating to follow the character presentations.
This location has a coffee shop with some treats, restrooms, beautiful gardens (please watch your children to ensure we are respecting the flowers and the property), & grassy areas.
