About the event

We have about 10-15 kids joining us ranging in age from 10-18. I will be following lessons from a book about social and emotional learning. Many of these lessons have been used in youth groups and classrooms for years to build social skills and team building. Here are the first few lessons/activities:

Lesson 1:

What is the story behind your name?

Tiny Teach (teach a skill to someone)

Group Agreements

Are you like this or that?

Lesson 2:

Backward or forward in time?

Lesson 3:

How many siblings do you have?

We will meet twice a month (1st and 3rd Tuesdays, usually) in the teen room at the Fallbrook library from 2-3pm to play games and do activities that encourage communication, goal-setting, teamwork, respect and so much more.

If you have younger siblings in tow, feel free to explore the library while we meet. Otherwise, feel free to join in to observe or help out as desired!

This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
