📅 Phone‑Free Teen/Tween Meetup: Fishing at Carlsbad Lagoon
Join us on Wednesday, April 1 from 11am–1pm at Agua Hedionda Lagoon in Carlsbad.
🚗 Parking: Please park at the end of Garfield St and Olive Ave.
This is a quiet residential dead‑end with easy street parking. From there, walk down the short dirt path that leads directly to the lagoon’s shoreline access. It’s a simple, kid‑friendly walk and brings you right to the legal public fishing area.
⚖️ Fishing Rules: Kids under 16 do not need a fishing license.
Anyone 16+ must have a valid California sport fishing license. Fishing is allowed only from public shoreline areas, not private docks or restricted zones. All anglers must follow California Department of Fish & Wildlife ocean‑water regulations.
