Fishing at South Lake Park
Join us on Wednesday, April 15 from 11am–1pm at South Lake Park in San Marcos.

🚗 Parking & How to Reach the Fishing Area: Once you park, Walk through the main gate at the trail entrance. Once you pass through the gate, take the path to the left — this leads directly down to the shoreline where fishing is allowed. It’s a short, easy walk and very kid‑friendly. You'll see us off to the right.
⚖️ Fishing Rules: Kids under 16 do not need a fishing license. Anyone 16+ must have a valid California sport fishing license. Fishing is allowed from the public shoreline only. Please respect posted signs and stay out of habitat‑restoration areas.
