JELLY BEAN TOWER CHALLENGE
(in honor of Easter!)
Kids form into teams and each team will be challenged to build the tallest jelly bean tower that can support the most books before time runs out. There is a PDF attached for anyone who wants to prepare design ideas ahead of time.
Each team can use up to 50 jelly beans and 50 toothpicks. There are no other supplies allowed to build this tower.
Each parent is responsible for bringing 25 jelly beans and 25 toothpicks. That way if we end up with teams of 2 they have all the materials to complete the challenge.
We’ll kick things off promptly at 1:30, so be sure to arrive ready to build, create, and problem-solve together in teams. Parents, please plan to stay nearby and be ready to jump in if teams need a little extra help answering questions, and don’t forget to…
