(Thursday) Palomar Mountain State Park Day Trip/Hike!

Let's meet at Palomar Mountain State Park for a hike and some nature exploration.  We can meet at Doane Valley Pond at 10:00 AM and take the Weir Trail.  There is a parking lot at the pond, we will wait at the trailhead there about 15 minutes before we embark.  There are bathrooms there.  

This is an easy hike about 3 miles.  We can make it a loop, take our time and find a good spot to picnic, maybe explore native plants or follow a scavenger hunt.  Bring lunch, water, dress for the weather IT WILL BE COLD, 45 DEGRESS, bring a first aid kit.  (dogs are NOT allowed on this trail).  It is $10 to enter the park.  Perhaps pair up and carpool with a friend.  All ages welcome.  See notice of liability next to events tab on our Vista main page.
