Tide Pools @ Cardiff State Beach (All Ages)

Come explore the tide pools with us at Cardiff State Beach! We'll be getting a very low tide on this day, increasing our chances of seeing cool creatures. We've spotted crabs, lobsters, and a little octopus at this location! It's also just a gorgeous spot, with its open expance of wet sand to run and play on. 

If you have a state parking pass, you can park in the lot. Otherwise, you can  park  on Coast Highway just south of the lot (we are able to walk easily from there with our kids).  The tide pools are a short walk along the beach just south of the parking lot. I will have my Homeschool Collective sign stuck in the sand with some beach chairs. 

It will most likely be chilly, but my kids will start in bathing suits becasue they don't know how to stay dry and explore LOL.  We will bring towels and warm clothes to throw on later!
