Amber Snow Hi, I'm Amber 👋 I'm a single mom to one amazing daughter and lifelong lover of doing things a little... well ...differently 😉 As an entrepreneur with ADHD, I’ve never really done “conventional,” so homeschooling felt like a natural fit for our outside-the-box life when preschool seemed like it didn't align. We've been at it since 2020 and going strong. I’ve been planning events for decades , and while I’m definitely an introvert at heart, I light up when I get to bring people together. Especially in ways that feel welcoming, inclusive, and real 🙌 Don’t be surprised if I crack a joke, say something awkward, or look mildly unapproachable while actually wanting to connect. I'm not mad, that's just my face. 🤣 I’m passionate about honoring neurodiversity, individuality, and building community that doesn’t put anyone in a box. I believe in doing what works for your family, and celebrating the variety that homeschooling brings. We live in the University Heights/North Park area and although I'd usually rather be online, I’ll always show up. I know the value of community and it's worth the effort. I believe it’s my responsibility as a homeschool parent to create meaningful, safe, and fun social opportunities for our kids. Especially as the mom of an only. Our deserve to build friendships, explore the world, and grow in environments where they feel seen and supported. I’m so grateful to be part of helping make that happen. Looking forward to meeting you at our next event!

meet our co-op lead Tiffany Nava Hi Everyone! I'm a wife, mom, stepmom, and realtor. I have 5 kiddos, 10, 8,4, 2 and one on the way! Once I knew that we were going to homeschool, 2 years ago I knew I had to find my tribe. So I went on a mission and found this group. After our first meeting I knew there was a need and potential for this community and network of amazing moms to grow! I am so thankful for the creation of this group! My family and I recently moved to Temecula and I haven't been able to find a group quite like this. So, I am really looking forward to creating the same amazing community here! meet our co-op lead Crystal Gwinnup Howdy! I'm a wife, stay at home mom of 8, and many more micro titles that are too many to list here. Haha! I have 5 girls and 3 boys. I NEVER saw myself homeschooling, ever! I didn't even know it was a thing before I was married in 2003. I even resisted the idea of it for years. I finally gave in when we made a move to the midwest and said "I'll take it one year at a time." Well I've been homeschooling since 2010 and have just keep renewing my promise to my husband and the Lord every year. I love family and friends and hope to add to each category by being here. CONTACT A CO-OP LEAD meet our Tween co-op lead Amanda Stock Hello, my name is Amanda! I am a San Diego native. I live in the Point Loma area with my husband and our four kids. Along with homeschooling, I am a web developer and photographer. We have been homeschooling since 2010. Over the years, I’ve learned that community is one of the most important aspects of homeschooling - for both kids and parents! We wouldn’t be where we are today without the amazing homeschooling families we have connected with over the years. I look forward to meeting you and creating many enriching and rewarding experiences together on this crazy journey! CONTACT A CO-OP LEAD SUBMIT INFO TO JOIN THIS CO-OP!

Meet Our Co-op Leads Anya Wietholter I have two sons and my older son had attended public school for 3 years before we decided to homeschool. The decision to homeschool can feel overwhelming and finding a supportive and happy group of parents who are already successfully educating their children at home gave me the confidence to take the leap. April Mendiola Hello my name is April, mother of 3. Born and raised in California, and 8 year resident of gorgeous Carlsbad. We’ve been homeschooling for two years and are grateful for the community that we’ve built, that have now become family to us. Jenny Bowman Hello homeschool families! As a mom of two littles under 8 I know how important community is. It truly does take a village. I am happy to build community with our amazing group and support each other in our endeavors to build up the next generation. Looking forward to seeing some of you at our next meet up. Stefanie Servin I am a teacher and mom of two in our third year of homeschooling. We became homeschoolers when I wanted my 2nd grade son to be more challenged in the classroom with hands on learning and less worksheets. Our homeschool journey consists of a lot of outdoor hours and finding daily learning opportunities as we travel through life together. The world really is our classroom!
