Meet Our Co-op Lead Elizabeth Griswold Hello fellow homeschool parent! My name is Elizabeth, and I live in Encinitas with my hubby and three kids. Wow, what an incredible journey it has been homeschooling so far! I felt led to take the leap and homeschool 3 years ago, ironically while in the thick of touring preschools for my oldest child. The spark was lit, we went on faith, and haven't looked back! I believe we moms (and Dads) deserve the connection and friendships WE need to thrive on this journey. I'm so looking forward to connecting with you! CONTACT A CO-OP LEAD SUBMIT INFO TO JOIN THIS CO-OP!

Having community can be a vital part of any homeschoolers journey, whether it be simple meet-ups or special events. Let us help guide you to finding the perfect fit. Our website is full of homeschooling resources for you! ABOUT US Our dream is to build a community that can grow with each family and their needs. To support our members each step of the way through their homeschool journey. To share thoughts, ideas, experiences, struggles, and triumphs. To walk together on this collective homeschooling path. Hello, Welcome! Hi! My name is Sara. I am a wife and mother. I have three children whom we have homeschooled since 2014. It was always my intention to educate my children at home and we are each blessed to have the opportunity to do just that. Our family moved to North County San Diego in the Fall of 2020. Shortly after that time I connected with another homeschool mother who invited me into her home for a gathering with local homeschool mothers. She introduced me to an amazing group of local homeschooling families and from that day forward not only have my children had the opportunity of creating friendships, but I too have found myself building many personal connections. This journey has truly been amazing in so many ways. I realized while sharing with others about homeschooling that this was bigger than just myself or my family. I knew more people needed what our group had to offer which is access to a supportive community. This is exactly what you will find here with Homeschool Collective. As a community we have seen the needs changing around us and so many of us wanted to provide more for not only our group, but for any family considering this path or are already on it. Please have a look around and know that each person you find here supporting the Collective has done so from their heart. Our community has grown because of the time and energy each of us have poured into it. It is our hope that this community and page will aid in the gaps that we have each come across. You will see many changes and additions in the coming year so please stick around. We can not wait to share it all with you. Thank you for being here and I truly hope this journey and time in your life is blessed beyond all measuring! Sara Shields

meet our co-op lead Kandice Judson I am Kandice Judson. I am a wife and mother of two bright, inquisitive, beautiful girls. I never imagined I would be a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling my children. The last minute decision to homeschool has turned out to be the best decision and blessing I never knew I needed which has led me to a community of amazing people. As more families opt to educate their children outside of the public school system, I want to help them to find their community too. I am so excited to be the lead for Off the 56 Homeschool Collective Co-op, a growing community encompassing those residing between Del Mar and Poway, including all of the surrounding communities and neighborhoods. Together, we'll enjoy park play meetups, group activities, and field trips while fostering life-long friendships and meaningful connections. I look forward to meeting you at our next get-together. meet our co-op lead Crystal Gwinnup Howdy! I'm a wife, stay at home mom of 8, and many more micro titles that are too many to list here. Haha! I have 5 girls and 3 boys. I NEVER saw myself homeschooling, ever! I didn't even know it was a thing before I was married in 2003. I even resisted the idea of it for years. I finally gave in when we made a move to the midwest and said "I'll take it one year at a time." Well I've been homeschooling since 2010 and have just keep renewing my promise to my husband and the Lord every year. I love family and friends and hope to add to each category by being here. CONTACT A CO-OP LEAD meet our Tween co-op lead Amanda Stock Hello, my name is Amanda! I am a San Diego native. I live in the Point Loma area with my husband and our four kids. Along with homeschooling, I am a web developer and photographer. We have been homeschooling since 2010. Over the years, I’ve learned that community is one of the most important aspects of homeschooling - for both kids and parents! We wouldn’t be where we are today without the amazing homeschooling families we have connected with over the years. I look forward to meeting you and creating many enriching and rewarding experiences together on this crazy journey! CONTACT A CO-OP LEAD SUBMIT INFO TO JOIN THIS CO-OP!

Meet Our Co-op Leads Anya Wietholter I have two sons and my older son had attended public school for 3 years before we decided to homeschool. As a mom of two littles under 8 I know how important community is. It truly does take a village. I am happy to build community with our amazing group and support each other in our endeavors to build up the next generation. Looking forward to seeing some of you at our next meet up. Stefanie Servin I am a teacher and mom of two in our third year of homeschooling. We became homeschoolers when I wanted my 2nd grade son to be more challenged in the classroom with hands on learning and less worksheets. Our homeschool journey consists of a lot of outdoor hours and finding daily learning opportunities as we travel through life together. The world really is our classroom!
