As part of my mission, I am actively working on establishing a hardship fund to assist families facing financial challenges, ensuring that no one is turned away from classes or field trips due to costs. I finally gave in when we made a move to the midwest and said "I'll take it one year at a time." Our homeschool journey began when we decided to part ways with the public school system in the fall of 2020. My passions include photography, teaching, sewing, all things crafty, and anything else that allows me to express my creativity. My family loves enjoying the sunshine! In our free time, you can catch us walking around the Zoo, Safari Park, and Balboa Park, going to the movies, or at one of our favorite restaurants. We’ve been married since 2008 and have 3 kids: Walker, Cora, and Dexter. We have homeschooled since 2013 in Virginia, Hawaii, and now in California. We moved to the Fallbrook/Bonsall area around 2021. Our family loves Jesus, music & art, board games, swimming, science, world culture, video games, and so much more. We’ve really started to explore our passions and interests over the last year or so as we’ve transitioned into a “big kid” family. There just isn’t enough time to learn it all! We like to spend our days roller blading/skateboarding (yes me too, although we aren’t really great at any of it, yet), playing games, and playing outside, including pool and beach days. Homeschool has been a journey for us, to say the least! We are pandemic switchovers, and I am so grateful for the motivation that time in our lives gave us. Until then, I was the breadwinner of our family, and it was not the right time for us to begin this homeschooling path. I have now had one graduate from homeschool, and our youngest, Ellie, will graduate in a few years. She is often quiet but will talk (a lot) more as she gets comfortable in her surroundings. She loves roller skating, ASL, crocheting, calligraphy, boxing, and her cat, Lucy. Angie V Hi! I am Angie. The mom to three girls and the wife to an amazing husband. We have been homeschooling since 2018. We are so thankful to have this opportunity for our kids and our family as a whole. Our children have been on so many life adventures and have had so many amazing experiences already. We can't wait to see what adventures will come next.
